Sudoku - algorithmization of solution
Buchta, Martin ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
In this paper, we present an overview of techniques that can be used by people to solve a Sudoku Puzzle. The individual algorithms were theoretically described using real tasks and were implemented on this basis to appropriate graphical user interface in Matlab with the possibility of webcam task loading.
Use of Augumented Reality to Teach Guitar/Bass Playing
Kajan, Miroslav ; Zachariáš, Michal (referee) ; Šolony, Marek (advisor)
This final work deals with a design and implementation of a system suitable for teaching guitar playing by using the technology of augmented reality. A webcam and the musical instrument itself are necessary for a guitar player to achieve the main aim. The system is based on a principal of homography and other techniques to work with the image. The system also renders the tones of a chosen trained element (an accord or a scale) right into the image captured by a webcam.
Camera based eye tracking
Otáhal, Miroslav ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to understand problematic of eyes movement tracking using webcam. In individual chapters there are introduced basic approaches of eyes movement tracking, based on this method we can get the position of eye pupil and identify where a person looks. The part of this work is program in Matlab, which using the method of infrared detection follow the position of eye pupil and transfer this movements to the movements on the computer screen. Using this program it was tested several volunteers and the results of detection were transferred to the visual form. As part of this program it was created template for assessment of accuracy of used method. At the end of work are discussed achieved results.
Gesture-Based Human-Computer Interface
Chaloupka, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about design and implementation of simple interface for hand gesture recognition. The interface is used as an extension of actual GUI elements. Skin color model is used for gesture segmentation, significant hand points (palm, fingers, fingertips) for gesture recognition. Designed interface is used for simple picture explorer controlling. Final application is capable of using simple gestures for scaling, rotation, pointing and click.
Web applications for user authentication
Vybíral, Petr ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problems of user authentication. The first chapter analyzes the problem of authentication, its methods and its utilization. The second chapter presents the different security options for communication. The chapter describes security, communication and authentication protocols. There is the 2D barcode QR Code described at the end of the chapter. The third chapter is devoted to ASP.NET technology, its development and possibilities of utilization. Attention is focused on web form and server controls. There is an analysis of elements of cookies and possibilities of their use. The last chapter consists of a practical part, which describes the development of a web application. There is a description of the parts of application, such as the database, the Web navigation, master pages and etc. in the following chapter. The cardinal part of the chapter consists of an analysis and implementation of forms authentication, the attribute authentication and authentication with QR code. Finally, there is a description of way how to secure the communication by using a certificate.
Measuring the Sun's position
Bajer, Patrik ; Čala, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a sensor for measuring the position of the Sun. In the first part, a theoretical analysis is made concerning methods of indicating the position of the Sun, patent searches and commercially available devices. The second part includes the preparation, the computer simulations performed, the actual design of the sensor and the evaluation of the results obtained.
3D scanner
Vrbičanová, Antónia ; Matějásko, Michal (referee) ; Spáčil, Tomáš (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis deals with the creation of the 3D-scanner using webcam, laser, stepper motor, and Python programming language. The main goal of this work is to determine the accuracy and repeatability of the planar measurement using piece of the aluminum block by using specific methods of the image processing. By enhancement of measurement algorithm and stepper motor the coordinates of individual points a sample object are gained. It is possible to create a model in STL format from points coordinates using MashLab software.
Wireless robot control using mobile platform
Matuška, Jakub ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design and implementation of an application for robot’s omnidirectional movement control using mobile platform. Implementation includes an Android application, used as user interface, as well as robot–side Python program for controlling movement and sending RTP stream to Android application. User can control robot’s movement using two virtual joysticks. Raspberry Pi was used as the control unit. The application has security module. Pipeline-based multimedia framework named GStreamer was used to implement RTP steaming. This paper describes necessary theory first and then introduces basic building blocks used in creation process of the application.
Human-Computer Interaction with Laser Pointer
Pavlín, Václav ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Šolony, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a system for controlling a PC via a laser pointer on a projection screen. Using a laser pointer can completely replace a computer mouse. The system simulates mouse cursor movements and clicks. The application uses homography for automatic camera calibration as well as for the conversion of coordinates between the image on the projection screen and the image on the computer.
Modular CCD cameras surveillance system
Řezníček, Radek ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with realization of modular camera system. Introductory part is focused on market research and concept of the system. Next part is dedicated to the choice of components for realization of the system. Practical part deals firstly with design of printed circuit board for supporting control unit which will be controlling peripherals like motion sensor, IR illuminator, eventually magnetic door contact and also focuses on software creation for main and supporting control unit.
